I wanted to share with you four of my favorite authors of late!
In no particular order…

1. Angela Bell – I LOVED her debut novel, “A Lady’s Guide to Marvels and Misadventures” – SO fun. An adventure love story with a bit of steampunk! Such deliciously delightful writing. It’s one I could listen to/read multiple times, just for her wordsmithing…and that is saying something. I don’t usually read books twice until I’ve quite forgotten the whole plot! I’m quite looking forward to her next release, “A Lady’s Handbook to Gadgets and Guile” coming out in July. https://www.facebook.com/AuthorAngelaBell.
2. Gabrielle Meyer – I got hooked on her Timeless series. Wow. The premise is that there are some people who live in two time periods at once, alternating back and forth between them until they reach a certain age where they have to decide which period they’ll choose for the rest of their lives. I love how she weaves in rich historical insights and encouragement to trust in God for HIS plans in our lives, even if they are not what we expect! Masterpieces. https://www.facebook.com/AuthorGabrielleMeyer
3. Pepper Basham – I recently finished Pepper’s book “Sense and Suitability”…and you guessed it, it’s loosely based on Jane Austen’s work. The main character was so fun and quirky, and it also has so many other characters who are VERY delightful. I laughed out loud at a certain scene involving a horse and a pond… I’ll leave it at that. Super fun. Looking forward to her next release, “Pride and Practicality” coming in October! https://www.facebook.com/pepper.basham
And last but not least,
4. Joanna Davidson Politano – I’ve enjoyed a NUMBER of her books, and find it fascinating how in (I think) each one, the house plays a role almost as much as any supporting character! It’s very cool. This is seen most vividly in “The Curious Inheritance of Blakely House,” which also has an element of steampunk to it – though not all of her books do. Fascinating reads with lots of surprise endings! https://www.facebook.com/joannadavidsonpolitano
